On creation/evolution (from R. McCroskey):
While walking through an automobile wrecking yard, I can see clearly the delineation between "creation" and "evolution".
Say that all the "Fords" are grouped together.
A viewer can easily demonstrate how one year's model evolved from the previous years, what features were retained, and which were changed or better adapted to the purpose.
Sometimes, there is a complete break in the model line from one year to the next, when some "creation" was done to generate a new model, but one can still see vestigial organs left from the previous year's models, so that no new auto is truly designed from "scratch".
Even though these relics reveal the process of evolution from one year to the next in this "fossil record" of automobiles, would any sane person deny the presence and handiwork of the original designer?
